  • Vanessa Kadado, LPC, LCDC-I

    Vanessa is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas, holding a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas.

    Vanessa specializes in treating Anxiety, Depression, Attachment Disorder, ADD/ADHD, Abuse, Grief and Loss, Codependency, Enmeshment Trauma, Enabling Behavior, Life Transitions, People Pleasing Behaviors, PTSD and Trauma, Relationship Issues, Substance Abuse and Multicultural and Diverse Issues. She enjoys working with adults to break barriers, establish healthy boundaries and achieve their greatest potential.

    Vanessa utilizes Attachment Theory, Adlerian therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) treatment modalities. With these treatment techniques, Vanessa's goal is to help her clients replace limiting and sabotaging beliefs with new narratives crucial to understanding themselves and those around them to create quality relationships with self and others.

  • Teresa Ansell, LPC-S, LSOTP-S

    Teresa is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor in the State of Texas, holding a Masters Degree in Counseling. Teresa has over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families impacted by addiction and abuse. She is especially passionate about working with substance abuse, problematic sexual behaviors, parenting issues and overcoming domestic violence cycles. She has worked in a variety of settings, including both inpatient and outpatient facilities and county corrections and court departments. She specializes in creating conversations that allow her clients to discuss sensitive areas of their life with dignity and respect.

    Her primary areas of focus include depression, anxiety, PTSD, attachment trauma, sexual abuse/incest recovery, substance dependence, neurodivergence, pornography addiction, compulsive sexual behaviors, as well as partner support and addressing codependency.

    Teresa is trained in and draws from a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and complex trauma to provide each client with individualized techniques that meet their unique needs. She is also well versed in psychological assessments, risk assessments for individuals and has extensive experience conducting effective group treatment for juveniles and adults. She is also skilled in professional training, consultation and providing expert testimony in court.

    Teresa brings a wealth of professional and life experience to her treatment style. She utilizes a caring and compassionate approach in helping her clients find real solutions. She helps her clients unravel unhealthy coping strategies and patterns that may be symptoms of deeper issues.   • Cara Waters, LPC, LCDC

    Cara is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Texas holding a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services.  Cara has had extensive experience in the addiction field working in an intensive-outpatient and detox program, as well as crisis management.  Cara has been working in private practice for the past several years. 

    Cara identifies as a lesbian therapist and is highly knowledgeable in the areas that affect the LGBTQIA+ population.  Cara’s areas of expertise include the treatment of LGBTQIA+ issues, Trauma, Codependency, Addiction, Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, ADHD, Life Transitions, Relationship Issues, Spiritual and Religious Abuse, Emotional Regulation, and more. She enjoys working with adult individuals, couples and non-monogamous couples.

    Cara is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  EMDR is an evidence-based practice that enables clients to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress caused by disturbing life experiences.  Based on the client’s needs, Cara also uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Family Systems Therapy, Post-Induction Therapy, The Gottman Method and Relational Life Therapy for couples.

    Cara is focused on discovering the root cause of why you are struggling and how to overcome those struggles. In working together, you will explore your family of origin and the patterns that keep you stuck in old patterns and behaviors. You will develop self-awareness that leads to lasting change. You will learn to release shame, self-judgements, negative self-talk, and develop a sense of self-talk, and develop a sense of empowerment.   • Britney Pedron, LPC

    Britney is a trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas as well as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition to her clinical experience, Britney previously served in the United States Air Force, and she has received formal training to treat substance abuse and other addiction disorders. Her background experience includes medical, military, substance abuse, and clinical mental health roles, which has shaped her therapeutic approach to be holistic and empathetic which resonates with her clients.

    Britney is especially passionate about working with people who are living with high acuity concerns such as Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Additionally, Britney has significant clinical expertise in the following areas: Addiction, Alcohol/Chemical Dependency, Anger Management, Antisocial Personality Disorder, ADD/ADHD, Autism, Chronic Illness/Pain, Codependency, Developmental Disorders, Divorce, Domestic Violence, Eating Disorders, Gambling Addiction, Grief/Loss, Infidelity, Life Transitions, Marital & Premarital Counseling, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Sleep Disorders, Stress Management, Trauma, and Women’s issues. Brittany works with teens (ages 12 and up), adults, couples, and families.

  • Katie Huchton, LPC, LCDC

    Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas Woman’s University with her master’s degree in counseling and development. She began her career focused on substance abuse, which gave her the opportunity to work with a wide variety of diagnoses and co-occurring disorders as well as facilitating group therapy for children impacted by a loved one’s addiction.

    Katie is experienced in treating people struggling with the impact of trauma/PTSD, anxiety and depression, family of origin issues, substance use/abuse, self-harm, suicidal ideation, mood and personality disorders, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, disordered eating, chronic pain, codependency, relationship issues, and women's issues. Currently, she works adolescents and adults.

    Katie is certified in EMDR, an evidence-based method of reprocessing and integrating traumatic experiences. In addition, she utilizes attachment theory and internal family systems (IFS) to make connections between past experiences and current behaviors and issues in the client’s life and relationships. She uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as the means of turning relevant observations and insights gained into attainable goals and an actionable plan.

    Katie believes the relationship between client and therapist is one of the most impactful aspects of therapy, so maintaining a warm, safe and non-judgmental atmosphere is central to her practice. She looks to understand and build upon the client’s current strengths while collaboratively setting goals and determining practical steps to create change that leads towards a thriving life. Embracing change can be uncomfortable, and Katie will guide, encourage and challenge clients throughout the process.

  • Sara Ogundipe, LPC

    Sara is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health from Walden University. Before joining our team, Sara was a registered behavioral technician within the ABA community working with children, adults, and families. She has an established history of philanthropy, community service, and clinical mental healthcare as she has worked and volunteered with various organizations throughout her years of experience.

    Sara specializes in the treatment of Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, Autism, Depression, Disordered Eating, Grief & Loss, LGBTQIA+ Issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Trauma, Minority Concerns, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Women’s Issues. She enjoys working with children ages 6 and older, adolescents, adults of all ages and provides individual therapy as well as couples therapy.

    Sara utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Brief Therapy as well as Person-Centered Therapy modalities in her work with clients. Applying these assorted therapeutic approaches, enables Sara to connect with her clients in a variety of ways. Every person has different experiences, destinations and goals in their lifespan and Sara’s knowledge and compassion provides a safe and effective means to achieve individual aspirations.

    The greatest gift a person can give themselves is to embrace their uniqueness, let go of the things they cannot change and celebrate their victories.   • NICOLE REGER, LPC

    Nicole is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) in the state of Texas. She earned a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). In addition to being a counselor, Nicole served as a Faculty Associate in the Rehabilitation Counseling Department at UTSW, facilitating group therapy and supervising graduate students. Nicole has over a decade of experience in the mental health industry.

    The types of treatment Nicole can provide to individuals include anxiety, chronic illness, codependency issues, coping skills, depression, grief, life transition, medication management, mood disorder, peer relationships, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress management and women’s issues. She also specializes in working with relationship issues with couples and that includes, premarital, marital, divorce, coping skills, family conflict, grief, and parenting issues. Nicole enjoys working with adults and couples.

    Nicole is trained in a variety of therapy approaches, including the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, and Psychodrama. In addition to her formal training, Nicole is Level II trained in Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT). PACT is a fusion of attachment theory, developmental neuroscience, and arousal regulation which effectively treats the most challenging couples. She has also studied psychodrama which allows the use of action methods, enriching her client’s experience and insights beyond traditional talk-therapy methods.

    Nicole believes the foundation of the counseling relationship is trust, authenticity, compassion, and collaborative. She works to establish open communication in a safe environment so you can uncover patterns in thinking, feeling, or action that are no longer serving you well. What follows is a cooperative process of shifting patterns to match current values and goals. She balances the hard work of personal change with patience, compassion, and humor.

    A new client can expect warmth, curiosity, and humor. Nicole believes that healthy support and practical tools allow us to build strength and move into places of healing and growth. She often offers options in session and encourages clients to share feedback about what fits best for them.   • Lisa Morgan, LCSW

    Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas, holding a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Southern California and attained her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin- Baylor. Lisa’s greatest strengths include connecting with people from different cultures, ages, and backgrounds.

    Lisa is also an elite athlete, having played collegiate volleyball, and is now a coach for one of the leading volleyball clubs in the country. She brings a real passion for helping young athletes who seek to increase their personal and athletic performance through mental strength and resilience. She also loves coaching athletes to manage their anxiety and stress and ultimately help them unlock their full potential.

    Due to her wide array of life experiences, Lisa provides an unmatched perspective when supporting her client’s suffering from anxiety, depression, OCD, crisis intervention, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, domestic violence, PTSD and trauma, geriatric issues, grief and loss, and chronic illnesses. Being raised in a military family, she fully understands the challenges veterans and their families face on a day-to-day basis, including C-PTSD and she really loves working with this population. Lisa is also an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and can work through life transitions, relationships, family support systems, boundaries, and sex positive lifestyles. She enjoys working with clients 12 years and older, adults, and seniors.

    Lisa uses a variety of therapeutic approaches which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion- Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy while focusing on Systems Theory and Social Learning Theory.

Lisa believes meeting clients where they are at is the key to monitoring and showcasing the goals achieved along the journey.
